U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that elected officials from Michigan's 4th Congressional District, led by Congressman Dave Camp, have endorsed John McCain for president.
"In a choice between Senator McCain and either Senators Clinton or Obama, I am confident the American people will choose Senator McCain," said Congressman Dave Camp. "John McCain believes, as do most Americans, in the need to reduce taxes, reduce federal spending and, most importantly, in winning the war against Islamic extremism. John McCain is a tenacious campaigner who can carry Michigan and win the White House."
John McCain thanked Congressman Camp and the district supporters, saying, "I am grateful for Dave's support and for the support of the elected officials in Michigan's 4th District. I look forward to working with them to address the issues that are important to Michigan families."
