EASTERN WASHINGTON CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION ENDORSES JOHN MCCAIN FOR PRESIDENT

U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that Congressman George "Doc" Hastings and Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers have endorsed John McCain for president.

"John McCain is the right candidate to lead our party to victory in November," said Congressman Hastings. "His strong conservative principles mean the voters in my district can trust him to lead our country in the right direction from his first day in the Oval Office."
Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers added, "John McCain is an American hero with the experience necessary to lead our great country. I am confident that he is the one candidate who can keep our families safe, ensure our economic prosperity, and promote the conservative principles we believe in."

John McCain thanked both Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers and Congressman Hastings for their support, stating, "I am honored to have Cathy and Doc's support. Both are strong leaders in the House of Representatives and I look forward to working with them on issues that are important to the voters of Eastern Washington."
