FLORIDA STATE REPRESENTATIVE MARCELO LLORENTE ENDORSES JOHN MCCAIN FOR PRESIDENT

U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that Florida State Representative Marcelo Llorente has endorsed John McCain for president.
"I am honored to support John McCain, an American hero with the experience necessary to be the leader of the free world at this critical period in our nation's history," Representative Llorente said. "John McCain's distinguished record of public service exemplifies the principled leadership needed to steer our country through the challenges that lie ahead."

John McCain thanked Representative Llorente, saying, "Marcelo is a well respected state leader. His record of service to the State of Florida and to the Miami area is impressive, and I am grateful to have his support."

Representative Llorente was first elected in 2002 to serve in the Florida House of Representatives by the residents of District 116 (Miami-Dade County). He currently serves on the Constitution and Civil Law Committee, the Safety and Security Council, and the Committee on Education Innovation and Career Preparation. Representative Llorente has a bachelor's degree in business management from Tulane University and a law degree from the Florida State University College of Law. He engages in the practice of law with the law firm of Bryant, Miller and Olive, P.A. and resides in the Kendall area of Miami-Dade County with his wife Cristina and their two children, Isabella and Marcelo.
