Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John W. Oxendine announced today that on Wednesday, July 8, at 7:43 am, James W. "Jake" Oxendine II was born to proud parents Ivy and John Oxendine.
Jake was 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and mother and baby are doing great.
"This is a great day in the Oxendine household," said John Oxendine from the hospital. "So many have people have been praying for Ivy and Jake, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude."
