Georgia: Eric Johnson Announces Finance Committee

Key fundraisers from across Georgia join the campaign

Senator Eric Johnson, Republican candidate for Governor, today announced key additions to his finance committee including Virgil Williams of Stone Mountain who will serve as a Finance Committee Co-Chair. Williams joins Chairman Jamie Reynolds of Greensboro and Co-Chair Steve Greene of Savannah to form the Finance Committee’s leadership team.

“Our campaign will clearly have the resources necessary to get our message out during a highly competitive primary,” said Johnson. “A strong Finance Committee is an indicator of a candidate's strength and can help separate a campaign from the rest of the pack. I cannot imagine a better start to building our team.

Joining Reynolds, Green, and Williams as initial members of the Finance Committee are:

Additionally, Johnson welcomed Rebecca Grant Cummiskey as his gubernatorial campaign’s Finance Director. Grant was a fundraiser for Governor Sonny Perdue’s 2006 re-election campaign and currently serves as a finance consultant for Lt. Governor Casey Cagle’s campaign.
