OHIO CONGRESSMAN PAT TIBERI ENDORSES JOHN MCCAIN FOR PRESIDENT

U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH) has endorsed John McCain for president.

"John McCain is a true fiscal conservative. As president he will fight to cut wasteful spending and lower taxes for American families," said Congressman Tiberi. "He has the experience and the courage to make the tough calls to get things done, and I am proud to endorse him for president."

John McCain thanked Congressman Tiberi for his support, stating, "Pat has spent his time in Congress working to achieve a more fiscally responsible and accountable government. I am grateful for his efforts on behalf of the people of Ohio and for his support."

Congressman Pat Tiberi is serving his fourth consecutive term representing Ohio's 12th District. During the 110th Congress, he was named to the Ways and Means Committee overseeing critical issues like taxes, Social Security, Medicare, trade and healthcare. Before coming to the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Tiberi served in the Ohio House of Representatives (1993-2000) where he rose to the position of Majority Leader. Prior to his election to the Ohio House, Congressman Tiberi served for eight years as an assistant to Congressman John Kasich. He also worked as a realtor with ReMax Achievers in southern Delaware County.
